Frequently asked questions
Here are straight answers to what people usually ask before we start. Don't see your question? Ask it in a free review: Contacts.
Payment and model
- Can I commission development without prepayment? Yes. The analysis, the concept with a spec and a working prototype come at our expense. You start paying at the MVP.
- How much does an MVP cost? 10% of the fixed estimate. The estimate is calculated individually for each project and fixed for free; it doesn't change along the way.
- What payment models are there? Capital vs. results, fixed price, time and materials, software leasing, staged payments. (see How we work)
- Is there a markup with staged payments? No: you pay exactly the fixed estimate, split by stages, in manats — no interest, no markup.
Guarantees and risks
- What guarantees that you'll finish the project? A contract with a legal entity and staged payment: the bulk of the cost falls on accepted stages — abandoning the project is a loss for us.
- What if I don't like the concept? We part ways, you've spent nothing — the first stages were at our expense.
- What if the requirements change along the way? The staged model allows for it: changes between stages without breaking the budget.
Code, rights, lock-in
- Who owns the code? The client — once the stage is paid, with no technical lock-in to us.
- Can we carry on without you? Yes — you keep the code, the documentation and the rights.
Timelines and process
- How long does development take? It depends on scope; we give a timeline estimate during the free concept stage. The MVP usually comes first.
- What does the first step look like? Describe the task → free analysis → concept, spec and fixed price. → Contacts
AI and automation
- Do we really need AI? Not necessarily. A free review often reveals that what you need is simple automation — we'll tell you straight.
- How do you calculate the payback? By time saved and errors reduced on a specific process, before adoption.
Security and hosting
- Is our data safe? Security by default: access control and protection from day one; hosting — cloud or on-premise to your requirements.
Technology
- Which platforms and languages do you work with? Linux, Windows, ARM, iOS, Android, embedded, IoT; Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, C/C++, Java/Kotlin, Swift, down to assembly. The choice fits the task. (see Services)
